In Campania the International Puppets Festival «Burattini nel verde» is the
manifestation in which the ancient art of the puppeteers finds renewed and strengthened
energies.
The Festival is a very comfortable place where Pulcinella can walk with his friends
Fagiolino and Sandrone.
In this enchanted garden the audience can see Ancient Warriors, Paladins of the Holy Land
together with their ladies who are often courageous too.
The terrible «Guappi», champions of a society crumbled by the modern mass-media, live
again by means of strings moved by expert hands.
During the Festival stories of sea, woods and towns mix with legends of new metropolis to
tell us how the life is.
It is ten days of shows, exhibitions, team- works, meetings to see what the situation of
the Puppets Theatre between renowed tradition and new trends is.
